LKJ of Houston Is Seeking Electrical Technician - $26.00 /DOE Per Hour

Electrical Technician for an Established Manufacturing and Fabrication Company. 

Pay: $26.00 /DOE per hour

Mon.-Sat. From 6am 3pm and they are on call for 1 week in the NE or East area.

Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance
• Experience in layout, assembling and installing wire, electrical components in accordance with blueprints and NEC
• Experience working with VFD, HMI and PLC
• Knowledgeable in single and three phase motors and motor control systems
• Experience working on and troubleshooting induction systems
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings
• An operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems

Responsibilities:

• Ensure reliability of machinery and equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
• Performs tasks including but limited to, troubleshooting and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment up to 480v
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals, diagrams, sketches, engineering specifications, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
• Uses hand tools and measuring instruments to determine changes in dimensional requirements of parts
• Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels
• Observes functioning of installed equipment or system to detect hazards and need for adjustments, relocation, and replacement
• Analyzes and interprets test data
• Troubleshoot PLC s
• Install and troubleshoot AC and DC Drives
• Keep accurate log of daily work activities
• Restocking supplies and materials as necessary
• Other skills that are desirable for this position:
• Journeyman electrician
• Allen Bradley PLC experience
• HVAC experience
• Background in lean six sigma
• Manlift certified
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• SAP experience
• Attended Safe Start program

• Quarterly bonus based on production and KPI s (temp hours count towards the bonus)
