Job Details

• Use of rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, chainfalls, etc.
• Rig up spools, valves, blinds, etc. for removal and installation.
• Working safely alongside mobile equipment such as telehandlers, mobile crane, etc
• Assisting Pipefitters with alignment and bolt up on 24” - 42” pipe.
• Erect and take down skid piles.
• Assist with stringing activities.
• Manual material handling.
• Operate hand and power tools.
• Clean and prepare sites.
• Perform spotting for various types of equipment as well as overhead powerlines.
• Understanding and following Jardeg's safety management system and core values.

Experience

• Experience working around or operating heavy mining equipment
• Experience with rigging
• Experience working in a harsh outdoor environment during winter months

Knowledge & Skills

• Mechanical skills, use of impact tools and pry bars

Physical Requirements

• Physical strength and stamina
• Manual dexterity
• Safety conscious attitude
• Familiar with tools of the trade

Certificates & Licences

• Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS- 09 or 2020) Certification
• First Aid - Standard Level A or C Certification
• Mask Fit Test & A&D Test
• Basic Rigging
• Driver's License CLASS 1
• Forklift (Preferred, not mandatory)
