Journeyperson Electricians Needed Calgary AB up to $45/hr

Job involves implementing solar power and renewable technology.

We focus our business on the design and installation of residential and commercial solar projects, energy storage, Tesla Powerwall installation, electric vehicle (EV) Chargers, off-grid solar, as well as general electrical services.

What do we require of you?

• Must be willing to work in outdoor conditions, on roofs, and in confined spaces and be able to lift 50 lbs in awkward positions.
• Journeyman / Journeywoman electrician ticket from an accredited learning institution
• Must be familiar with the use of hand and power tools
• Mechanical aptitude with the manual dexterity to complete complex tasks
• CSTS and Fall Protection
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and willingness to provide a driver’s abstract

What would be nice for you to have?

• Residential electrical experience (industrial/commercial-only candidates will not be considered)
• Experience as a foreman or crew-lead
• Solar PV experience
• Experience working on small teams

Job Duties include but are not limited to.

• Interpret engineered drawings
• Install solar modules on roofs/structures
• Interconnect electrical wires and devices
• Improve procedures and practices through critical thinking and problem-solving
• Residential service upgrades
• Drive class 5 vehicles
• Other duties as required
