What Ledcor is Hiring for:

Journeyperson/ Apprentice Ironworker

Location: Leroy, Sask

Projects: Industrial construction  

Project end date: September 2024

Pay: $38.00+ Hourly 

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Stick build steel erection for structural steel building and structural steel panelization, modular builds, mod placement and EAU assembly
  • Bolt up and impacting
  • Study blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the lay out of work
  • Position steel units, align holes, and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments and joining steel parts
  • Heavy lift, rigging and setting of building modules
  • Ensures the safety of the crew, equipment, and environment
  • Ensures that work is completed during regular hours

Certificates & Licenses

  • Must possess a Journeyperson/Apprentice Ironworker certification with a recognized provincial training authority
  • Ledcor requires possession of OSSA Regional with CSTS/BSO or CSO, Fall Protection
  • EWP and Confined Space are an asset

Tools & Equipment

  • Must have basic Ironworker tools

Work Conditions:

  • 14/7 rotation working 10 hours/day
  • Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions.

Pre-employment
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
