DAYS AND HOURS

Work days Monday to Friday

TRAINING & SAFETY WORK WEAR

  • Ongoing training for safety and job duties is provided.
  • Protective clothing and equipment are provided as is image wear.
  • Allowances are paid for coveralls and steel-toed boots for this job.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Follows all safety, encouraging and demonstrating safe practices and company policies and procedures.

SKILLS

  • Truck body experience
  • Hydraulic knowledge
  • Fitting, Fabricating and Piping knowledge
  • Aluminium tig welding
  • General truck and trailer welding repairs
  • *Valid driver’s license is required for portable work*
  • PHYSICALLY ACTIVE
  • Able to weld in weather changing conditions indoor and outdoor

SAFETY CONSCIOUS

  • Complete tasks in a safe manner
  • Follow directions and procedures related to safety
  • Ask questions to increase personal understanding
  • Be aware of and alert to hazards and respond appropriately

WORKS WELL WITH OTHERS

  • Good communication skills (listening, verbal and written)
  • Dedicated to satisfying customer needs
  • Enjoy team work

ORGANIZED

  • Effectively manage time
  • Notice and attend to details
