Bird Nason Contracting Group is currently seeking applications for Journeyman Pipefitters for work near Fort McMurray, AB

  • Wage: $47.35
  • Camp accommodation provided
  • Shift: 14 on 7 days off

Travel available if applicable

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Process piping and equipment installations
  • Threading, Cutting, Grooving, Bending, Measuring of piping
  • Working with plans and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements
  • Hydrostatic testing of installed piping systems
  • Ensuring safe work practices, EH&S processes, and OH&S compliance are followed on site

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • To be considered for this position you must be a registered Journeyperson in the trade of Steamfitter-Pipefitter
  • Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
  • Experience on major industrial project sites
  • The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs
  • Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions

Have the following tickets:

  • Valid Driver's License (not GDL)
  • CSTS-09 or CSTS 2020
  • WHMIS 2015
