What Yanda Canada LTD is Hiring for:

Yanda is looking for Journeyman and Journeywoman Electricians.

Responsibilities

  • · Read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts for new or existing installations
  • · Pull wire/cables through conduits and through holes in walls, floors and cable tray systems
  • · Install brackets and hangers to support electrical equipment and tray systems, install grounding and bonding
  • · Install, replace and repair lighting fixtures and electrical control and distribution equipment, such as switches, relays and circuit breaker panels, install MI and SR EHT
  • · Splice, join and connect wire to fixtures and components to form circuits
  • · Test continuity of circuits using test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of system, following installation, replacement or repair
  • · Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical and electronic systems and remove and replace faulty components
  • · Tracking of Units installed

Certifications:

  • Journeyperson
  • Fall arrest, H2S alive, manlift, CSTS2020, WHMIS 2015
  • Able to work out of town

Schedule

  • 10 days in 4 days out, 12 hr shift daily.

Duration

  • Site work (near Fort McMurray) from Feb to June. Potential for longer duration.
