What PrideStaff is Hiring for:

Journeyman Electrician

Location: Hattiesburg, MS

Pay: $20-$25hour DOE

Position: Full-Time

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Details

• Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams

• Inspect electrical components including transformers and circuit breakers

• Use testing devices to identify and report electrical problems

• Use hand and power tools• Adhere to state and local building regulations

• Complete work orders on time

• Create records of materials used

• Set up and test computer systems by running cables and connecting computer jacks and plugs

Experience

  • Proven previous experience as a Journeyman electrician

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Certificates & Licences

  • Must be a certified Electrician

Competencies

  • Must be detail oriented, a self-starter and able to work independently without supervision
  • Deep knowledge of electrical systems, power generation, blueprints, maintenance and repairs

Pre-employment

  • Drug check
  • Background screening
