What OCL Group is Hiring for:
Journeyman & Apprentice Pipefitters
Location: Prince George, BC
Schedule: 6/1 rotation
LOA: Provided
Position: Full time
Working Conditions
- 6 days on, 1 day off
- 60 hours per week. Most shifts start at 7:00 am but hours may vary based on site requirements.
- Overtime and work on weekends as required
- One paid 30-minute break and a 30-minute unpaid lunch break per day
- Drug and alcohol test required
Responsibilities and Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Expertly measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal, plastic and fiberglass valves, pipes, fittings
- Join pipe sections and secure in position
- Use test equipment to check systems for leaks
- Install supports, valves, piping and control systems
- Complete tasks in line with OCL and industry standards, procedures and practices
Certificates & Licences
- Journeyperson/Apprentice Pipefitter Certification/Ticket
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to and from site
- Safety tickets
Tools & Equipment
- Own hard hat and fire retardant (FR) clothing / coveralls with 3" reflective strips
Pre-employment

- Criminal record check
