Material Handler 

Location: Burnaby, BC 

Job Status: Full-Time Regular

Salary: $38.76 Hourly

Workplace Flexibility: No 

Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, inspect, record, store, issue, load, and ship equipment and materials.
• Conduct inventory checks and perform housekeeping duties.
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Complete administrative duties and may need to contact suppliers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Holder of a current BC Class 5 Driver's License.

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

• Learn and retain computerized inventory control training and procedures.
• Computer literacy in personal computers and data entry skills.
• Understanding of natural gas materials, their use, and terminology.
• Ability to learn, retain, and pass W.H.M.I.S/T.D.G requirements and testing.
• Organizational and administrative skills.
• Work with minimum supervision.

Work Conditions

• Physical ability to lift, carry, and place materials.
• Conduct work in a manner that prevents injuries and incidents, adhering to safety policies and procedures.
