Position: Full-time

Job Functions:

• Assigned responsibility to monitor work activities, identify and report problems affecting service delivery.
• Maintain a safe environment for staff, contractors, and visitors.
• Determine appropriate times for legal arrests.
• Familiarity with and adherence to mall policies, procedures, and Paladin Security protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Check adherence to site policies and procedures.
• Ensure guards follow contractual obligations.
• Provide information for staff to commence duties.
• Monitor and report health and safety deficiencies.
• Complete Guards Orientation Check List.
• Provide guards with continued training.
• Address staff training or disciplinary issues.
• Respond to email inquiries in a timely manner.
• Support staff needs and concerns.
• Assist with staff evaluations and provide feedback.
• Monitor daily and nightly incident reports.
• Ensure services comply with Paladin's Code of Ethics and Policies.

Requirements:

• Hold a valid security license.
• Computer literate with knowledge of site systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of security functions and requirements.
• Dependable, professional, and able to display objectivity and sound judgment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day activities, provide training, plan, assign and direct work, appraise performance, reward and discipline employees, address complaints, and resolve problems.

Education 

• High School Diploma/GED.

Experience

• Two to five years' experience as a security guard or law enforcement agent.
• 2-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Language Skills:

• Must speak, read, and write English.

Physical & Work Environments:

• Representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• Regularly required to stand, sit, walk, bend for extended periods, reach with hands and arms, talk, and listen.
• Ability to work in an office under artificial fluorescent lighting with varying noise levels.
• Must perform under pressure, concentrate for prolonged periods, and work long hours under stressful conditions.
