What Bergaila is Hiring for:

Maintenance Electrician

Location: Kermit, TX 

Compensation: $45-55/hour

Assignment Duration: 6 months+
Work Schedule: 

  • Monday-Friday 
  • 8-10 hour shifts

Responsibilities:

  • Install electrical circuits and equipment including panels, switches, protective devices, conduit, and related equipment.
  • Maintain and repair PLC's, control circuits, power systems, switchgear, transformers, motors, and electronic controls.
  • Fabricate, install, and run conduit, perform motor terminations, control troubleshooting, and panel work.
  • Test, maintain, repair, and install switchgear, transformers, meters, regulators, and reactors.
  • Troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems.
  • Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and code specifications.
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, resistance, voltage, and current.
  • Maintain, install, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and electrical diagrams.
  • Knowledge of and ability to interpret the NEC Code Book.
  • Safety-minded with adherence to safety regulations.
  • Ability to troubleshoot 480-volt MCC's and electric motors.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting drives.

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
