Journeyed Trade Instrumentation and Control Technician

Location: Estevan, SK 

Permanent - Full Time

Wage: $43.91 - $48.30 per hour

Key Accountabilities:

• Interpret and implement plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Analyze and diagnose equipment malfunctions, taking corrective action.
• Participate in the design and field modification of apparatus and equipment.
• Requisition and maintain an adequate inventory of parts and supplies.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, test, and repair industrial, electrical, and control systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep records.
• Arrange permits and develop/perform authorized switching procedures.
• Adhere to safety and environmental standards.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development.
• Prepare cost estimates.
• Supervise apprentices and other staff.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

• Interprovincial Journeyperson Industrial Instrument Technician Certificate or equivalent.

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
