Journeyed Trade, Power Line Technician (Apprentice)
Location: Multiple Locations throughout Saskatchewan
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Pay: Competitive
Opportunities:

Requirements:
- Safety-sensitive position, mandatory pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Successful completion of Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trades Certification Commission requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Willingness to relocate anywhere in the province
- Ability to work in all types of weather
Key Accountabilities:
- Learn to construct, repair, and maintain power pole lines and underground cable systems
- Acquire basic climbing skills, safety procedures, tool/material use, and operation of “Powered Mobile Equipment”
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions and at various heights
- Handle large, bulky, and heavy materials or equipment
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Entrance requirements as per Provincial Apprenticeship and Trades Certification Standards
- Ability to meet Saskatchewan equivalent Entrance Requirements for Apprenticeship Training
- Physical fitness for the position
- Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
