Electrician - All Levels

Location: Dawson Creek, BC

Pay: Competitive

Position: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications for industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance.
• Install, examine, replace, or repair AC/DC Motors and Drives, PLC's, 480V power, 120V control circuits, 4160 volt switchgear, transformers, motors, starters, relays, and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical controls.
• Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fiber-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components.
• Size and install electrical circuits, including panels, wire size and type, conduit, protective devices, switches, and related equipment according to the CEC and/or NEC.
• Fabricate, install, and/or run conduit, 3-Phase work, motor terminations, control and instrument troubleshooting, and panel work.

Experience Requirements:

• Must possess construction and industrial electrical experience.
• Ability to take initiative, work independently, and collaborate in a team.
• Reliable and dependable, demonstrating punctuality and readiness to work.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely.

Certificates, Licenses & Tickets

• Applicable safety tickets (CSTS-20, H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, AWP).
• Must be a registered Apprentice or Certified Journeyperson.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
