Licensed Industrial Electrician
Location: Fort Erie, ONShifts: Day Shift
Job type: Permanent | Full-time
Pay: $35.96 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to production calls to keep production equipment operational and ensure seamless production processes.
- Receive and complete electrical and mechanical work orders, as well as preventative maintenance work orders, when assigned by the maintenance team leader.
- Sign and date all completed work orders and PMs, and record any problems or observations for the team leader's attention.
- Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures on various types of machines.
- Select, install, and repair busways, flexible and rigid conduit, cable troughs, wires, and communication wires.
- Read, interpret, and revise ladder logic, distribution, and fluid power drawings.
- Perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner and provide assistance with mechanical issues when necessary.
Experience
- 3-5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
Knowledge & Skills
- Experience working with Allen Bradley PLCs and VFDs.
- Experience working with Fanuc Robots would be an asset.
Certificates & Licenses
- Industrial Electrician license, 442a.
- Refrigeration Operators class B ticket would be an asset.
Education
- Grade 12 Education.
Pre-employment
- Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
