Licensed Industrial Electrician 

Shifts: Day Shift
Job type: Permanent | Full-time
Pay: $35.96 per hour 

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to production calls to keep production equipment operational and ensure seamless production processes.
• Receive and complete electrical and mechanical work orders, as well as preventative maintenance work orders, when assigned by the maintenance team leader. 
• Sign and date all completed work orders and PMs, and record any problems or observations for the team leader's attention.
• Ensure all food safety standards are strictly followed.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures on various types of machines.
• Select, install, and repair busways, flexible and rigid conduit, cable troughs, wires, and communication wires.
• Read, interpret, and revise ladder logic, distribution, and fluid power drawings.
• Perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner and provide assistance with mechanical issues when necessary.

Experience

• 3-5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience working with Allen Bradley PLCs and VFDs.
• Experience working with Fanuc Robots would be an asset.

Certificates & Licenses

• Industrial Electrician license, 442a.
• Refrigeration Operators class B ticket would be an asset.

Education

• Grade 12 Education.
