Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform skilled tasks including maintenance, repairs, and overhauls
• Comply with company and customer policies and procedures
• Complete required paperwork accurately
• Stay updated with technological advances in the industry
• Demonstrate leadership skills and contribute to a team environment
• Maintain a professional image at all times

Qualifications:

• Proficient in engine maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electronic and mechanical control problems
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work set hours
• Must pass drug-related and background testing
• Must have a full set of hand tools as per company standards
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to attend training classes and seminars as required
• General computer skills for diagnostic purposes

Education

• High school diploma or GED required
• Formal vocational training preferred

Experience

• One to five years of diesel experience required
• Generator tech experience preferred
• Experience with Caterpillar and Waukesha engines desirable

Language Skills:

• Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking)

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Prolonged periods of standing
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
