What FWS Group is Hiring for:

Mechanical Engineer

Location: Calgary, AB

Pay: DOE

Position: Full-time

Job Details

Collaborate in conceptual proposal and execution phases of projects
Stay updated with relevant technologies, standards, and regulations
Develop mechanical system and component designs for processing facilities
Coordinate with project team and design groups to ensure client requirements are met
Prepare detailed design drawings and reports
Visit worksite for inspection, commissioning, and training

Education

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical or Process Engineering
P.Eng. designation in multiple provinces and/or states

Experience

Minimum five years of design engineering experience in the industry

Minimum five years of experience in the design-build industry

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Word and Excel
Strong problem-solving skills and creativity
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team and handle challenges
High accuracy and ability to manage multiple details under pressure

Travel/Transport

Travel required, including some extended stay
