Position Overview: We are seeking skilled Orbital Welders to join our team. As an Orbital Welder, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality welds on stainless steel tubing using the AMI 207 machine. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise to independently create weld schedules, program the AMI 207 machine, and perform necessary adjustments for certification on 2” .083 or .065 wall stainless tubing.

Responsibilities:

• Independently develop and write weld schedules for the AMI 207 machine.
• Program and set up the AMI 207 machine for welding operations.
• Perform welds on 2” .083 or .065 wall stainless tubing according to specified requirements.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure weld integrity and compliance with standards.
• Troubleshoot and make adjustments as necessary to achieve optimal weld quality.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Orbital Welder, specifically with stainless steel tubing.
• Proficiency in writing and implementing weld schedules.
• Hands-on experience with the AMI 207 machine or similar orbital welding equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Certification or ability to certify on 2” .083 or .065 wall stainless tubing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
