Civil/Pipe Foreman

Humble, Texas 

 

Job Description:

Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for water and wastewater systems.

Successful Candidates must have:

  • Experience in building water/wastewater treatment plant projects.
  • Organize and monitor Craft Worker crews
  • Verify correctness of work (i.e. dimension verification)
  • Safety Compliance, conduct daily STA’s with crews
  • Field material requisitions (i.e. field PO)
  • Small tool management
  • Monitor and report productivity
  • Maintain field Logs (i.e. equipment inspections, Daily Safety Checklist)
  • Must be mechanically inclined and have a working knowledge of flanged & mechanical joint (MJ) type ductile iron pipe.
  • Must have construction experience
  • Safety background on large projects
  • Must have experience with commercial hand tools and power tools

 

Heavy Equipment Operator - Underground Pipelayer - Carpenters

Sugar Land, Texas & Humble, Texas - Charlotte, North Carolina

 

Successful Candidates must have:

  •  Experience in building water/wastewater treatment plant projects. 
  • Must be able to shoot grades, be mechanically inclined and have a working knowledge of flanged and mechanical joint (MJ) type ductile iron pipe. 
  • Have an understanding of different types of concrete forming systems (Symons, Peri, Doka, Meva, EFCO, Alisply, job built, etc.).  Pump setting, equipment setting and concrete finishing skills a plus. 
  • Must have the communication skills to lead craftspeople in all of the above mentioned tasks.
  • Operators must have current certifications.

 

 

Crane Operator

Charlotte, North Carolina

Duties:

  • Fastens attachments to equipment with clevis or wedge pin hitches.
  • Connects hydraulic hoses, belts, mechanical linkage, or power takeoff shaft to equipment to provide power to raise, lower, or tilt attachment.
  • Feels lever and listens for stalling action of engine to estimate depth of cut.
  • Operates the backhoe/excavator in a smooth control manner.  Dig pipe trenches and structure excavations by removing earth and properly sloping. the sides of the excavations to protect employees from cave-in
  • Greases, oils, and performs minor repairs on equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Crane operators must be able to read the load charts and figure the proper configuration of the crane to safely make the required lift.  Written exam required.
  • Crane operator must be certified.

Safety Coordinator

Sanford, Flordia & Charlotte, North Carolina 

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of current safety training programs as required
  • Conducts safety audits to insure compliance with OSHA, Federal and State requirements
  • Assists Project Management in developing site specific safety plans
  • Conducts site specific new employee safety orientations

Qualifications:

  • Wide-spread knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, MOT, and Environmental standards and regulations
  • CHST or COSS certified
  • OSHA 510 (OTI) approved
  • 5-10 years of safety management experience
  • Degree preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Broad training experience
  • Extensive travel required

 

Project Engineer

Primary Responsibilities

  • Engineering duties as assigned for assistance in planning construction.
