What ResourceMFG is Hiring for:

Welder 

Location: Chatsworth, CA 

Sector: Aerospace  

Pay: $22.00 – $27.00 per hour DOE

Hours: 

  • 1st Shift 7am – 3:30pm
  • Monday – Friday

First-Year Success Factors:

  • Cultivate a strong rapport and working relationships with key engineering and  manufacturing staff and demonstrate effective cross-functional collaboration with team members
  • Comprehensive technical skills to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing
  • Ensure welding meets specified requirements before inspection is initiated
  • Ability to drive high quality in welding and that material and consumable meet  specifications
  • Key Performance Deliverables:
  • Read and comprehend fabrication drawings and welding symbols per AWS A2.4
  • Weld components per fabrication drawing: stainless steel, steel, and aluminum material  with understanding of MIG and TIG techniques
  • Partner collaboratively with engineering and manufacturing teams to make continuous  improvement to work process for production and quality control
  • Work with welding fixtures and jibs and ensure consistent accuracy and quality
  • Knowledge of visual inspection acceptance/rejection criteria

Education

  • H.S. Diploma or GED

Experience

  • 3-5 years of TIG welding experience.
  • Must have experience as Manufacture Parts welding

Pre-employment

  • Ability to pass qualification test per AWS D17.1, D1.1, or D1.2.AC
