What Ledcor is Hiring for:

Journeyperson / Apprentice Instrumentation Technician

Location: Fort McMurray, AB

Job Status: Full-Time

Pay: Competitive

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret drawings, following code specifications and procedures
  • Instrumentation tubing
  • Installation of instruments, hoses, and fabrication
  • Calibration of components and instruments per manufacturers’ specifications
  • Inspection, testing, fault-finding, and troubleshooting
  • Journeypersons must be willing to mentor apprentices

Certificates & Licenses:

  • Journeyperson Instrumentation certification or registered apprentice from a recognized provincial training authority
  • Required certifications: CSTS 2020, CSO or BSO, Fall Protection, and EWP

Experience

  • Experience in construction projects within an industrial setting

Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication skills

Pre-employment

  • Successful completion of pre-access drug and alcohol testing

Work Conditions:
  • 14 days on / 7 days off schedule, working 10 hours per day

  • Driving to Fort McMurray is an option with available camp parking
