Industrial Mech Millwrights: $38.00 - 40.00/Hour (Lethridge, AB)

Pay: $38 - $40 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• No weekend
• Full-time, Permanent

• Lethbridge, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Application question(s):

• Can you work rotating shifts? 4 weeks days, 2 weeks afternoons, and 2 weeks nights?

Duties:

• Troubleshoot, Repair, Rebuild, and Routine Maintenance of various plant machinery and equipment, including power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Utilize the onsite Preventative Maintenance EAM program to complete assigned work, and enter new requests for repairs, parts, follow-up work, etc.
• Installation and retrofitting of complex production equipment; fabricating and welding as required.
• Align machines and equipment during installation, using hoists, jacks, squares, ruler, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
• Use a lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts to match the appropriate specifications.
• Assist with shut down operations to assemble machinery and equipment.
• Optimize equipment safety, efficiency, and reliability participating in continuous improvement projects and complete works according to PM schedules.
• Ensure that safety policies, quality standards, and standard operating procedures are followed.

Requirement

• Journeyman Millwright preferred, Journeyman Electricians may also apply.
• 2 years of industrial mechanical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated aptitude in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

• Able to work well in both a team and independently, and comfortable using computer/tablet.
