What ResourceMFG is Hiring for:

Pipe / Structural Fitter

Location: Houston, TX 77051

Job Type: Temp to Hire

Base Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Other Pay: Referral Bonus available

Schedule: 1st and 2nd shift  

Job Duties:

  • Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems using conventional and measuring instruments
  • Ensure safety and housekeeping standards are maintained
  • Fit, cut, and tack materials
  • Prepare welding joints and perform grinding applications
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Other duties as assigned by area supervisor

Experience

  • 2-5 years of experience as a Pipe / Structural Fitter

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency in laying out, assembling, and installing pipe systems and supports
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
  • Ability to set up and use a MIG welding machine
  • Knowledge of pipe schedules and base material
