Dozer Operator

Location: Newark, CA

Job Type: Full Time

Shift Available: 12 hours 2nd shift

Compensation: $31.25/hr

Principal Accountabilities:

• Operate heavy equipment including backhoe, loader, bull dozer, articulated dump truck, etc.
• Operate dozer on all levels of a stack of salt
• Prepare the salt stack and set the salt box
• Make salt cuts to control the feeding of salt to the stack
• Complete daily reports of salt movement and maintain equipment logs
• Inspect and operate various equipment and machinery
• Perform maintenance tasks on equipment
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to understand and communicate in English
• Ability to perform physical job duties
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, or different shifts
• Basic computer skills and ability to perform basic arithmetic
• Able to work in elevated areas

Education:

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience

Experience

• Experience operating mobile equipment
• Experience in road grading techniques
• Experience in light equipment maintenance

Pre-employment

• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• Must be 18 years or older
