Assembly Mechanic

Location: Everett, WA

Job Type: Direct Hire

Work Conditions: Manufacturing setting

Hours: 1st shift: 5 am-3:30 pm; Monday-Thursday & Overtime on Fridays

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00/hour with a Sign-On Bonus of $2500

Schedule: Full-time, 1st shift

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Build custom packaging machinery for fresh produce, coffee, candy products, and more
• Install mechanical components and sub-assemblies into machines
• Check parts for proper manufacturing
• Read diagrams and written specifications for part installations
• Mount auxiliary equipment to machines
• Position parts correctly and use machinery to drill, tap, and ream holes
• Align and connect parts using hand and power tools
• Set up and operate machines for testing purposes
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise

Knowledge & Skills:

• Ability to read schematics and mechanical blueprints
  
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Ability to multitask

Experience: 

• 4 years of experience in assembling packaging machinery or industrial maintenance at a food production company

Tools & Equipment: 

• Hand and power tools
