Structural Welder/Structural Fitter Opportunity  

Location: Houston, TX

Hours: 1st and 2nd shift

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

• Follow standard work instructions
• Structural welding in a shop environment
• Machine setup
• Measuring, cutting, and assembling metal products
• Grinding and polishing finished products
• Follow safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Perform hands-on tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  
• Troubleshoot
• Proficient with welding processes
• Fill out inspection reports and requests
• Work with conventional and measuring instruments
• Safety & Housekeeping
• Fit, cut, and tack material
• Prepare welding joints
• Ability to read blueprints
• Grinding applications
• Other duties as assigned by area supervisor

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50lbs, stand, bend, and reach

Experience:

• 3-5 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment (Required)

Certificates & Licenses

• Qualified candidates must pass a weld test (3G & 4G MIG / Flux-core)

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Exceptional math and measurement skills
