CNC Boring Mill Machinist 

Location: Mississauga, ON

Salary: $27.03Hr ($52,000-62,400 per annum)

Position: Full-Time

Experience

• Must have a minimum of 5 years experience on CNC Boring mill.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Set-up Operator of Horizontal Machining center.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge in Heidenhain and Fanuc (Preferred)
• Person should be willing to get trained on the controls.
• Strong knowledge in CNC machine set-up

Job Details

• Perform own manual set-ups by positioning and aligning tooling per set-up instructions.
• Maintain tolerances by observing operation and making necessary machine offset adjustments, cutter changes and self-inspection.
• Perform work from set-up sheets, manufacturing sheets and drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to utilize measuring equipment in support of quality requirements and read and interpret blueprints. Must have consciousness towards quality.
• Ability to handle larger / heavier parts.
• Strong mechanical problem solving.
• Overhead cranes and forklift operating experience
• Perform daily machine checks and follow safety procedures.
