Operations  Manager 

Job Type: Direct Hire

Location: Long Beach

Rate: $75,000+/yr.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Responsibilities

•  Supervises daily yard operation such as welding, fitting fabrication, and general labor tasks required for timely delivery, installation, and pickup of products
• Plans and schedules all deliveries, installations, and equipment returns 
• Maintain adequate rental inventory levels of fittings, pipe, pumps, tank parts and equipment necessary to satisfy customer demand
• Maximizes the utilization of assets by minimizing inventory and equipment down time
• Assures the maintenance and repair of rental fleet, trucks, trailers, forklifts, etc. 
• Maintains safe, neat and efficient operating conditions throughout areas of responsibility
• Conduct regular safety meetings with subordinates
• Keeps and provides written reports and records required by management on a timely basis
• Prepares and trains for proper installation and operation of new products 
• Help conduct branch safety meetings

Skills & Qualities

• Strong operations background in engineering, fleet, etc.
• Excellent management & communication skills
• Passion for driving process improvements
• Solid understanding of equipment, processes, procedures
• Inventory management including equipment, spare parts, tools, etc.
• Maintenence of equipment, trucks, forklifts, etc.

• Strong organizational and time management skills

Experience

• Experience in safety management, inspections and meetings
