Non-CDL Delivery Driver

Location: Bryan, TX

Position Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour, DOE

Key Responsibilities:

• Safe Driving: Operate company vehicles responsibly, strictly following all traffic laws and regulations.
• Delivery: Ensure prompt and accurate delivery of millwork products to customers and job sites along designated routes.
• Load and Unload: Assist with loading and unloading products, ensuring secure transport and careful handling.
• Documentation: Maintain precise delivery records, including receipts, delivery logs, and required documentation.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine vehicle inspections, promptly report issues or maintenance needs, and keep company vehicles clean and organized.
• Customer Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service, maintain professional interactions, and address inquiries or concerns.
• Adherence to Schedule: Follow assigned delivery schedules, ensuring on-time deliveries. Flexibility with working hours, including some Saturdays during peak seasons.
• Safety: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including using personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication with dispatch and the warehouse team to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
• Inventory: Assist in inventory management by verifying and reporting discrepancies as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license (non-CDL).
• Clean driving record with no significant violations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• The previous delivery driving experience is required.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of Bryan, TX, and the surrounding areas is a plus.
• Willingness to work on occasional Saturdays during peak periods.

Plant Hours:

• Regular 8 hours: 6:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. (Total = 8 hours and 45 minutes, including a 30-minute lunch and a 15-minute break, which may vary daily)
• 9 hours: 5:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. (Total = 9 hours and 45 minutes)
• 10 hours: 5:30 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. (Total = 10 hours and 45 minutes)
