What WORKFORCE is Hiring for:

High Voltage Electrical Technician

Location: Prince George, BC

Job Type: Direct

Earnings: 180-220k per year 

Hours: Full-Time

Experience: 5 Years 

Travel: No

Skills and Attributes: Safety

  • Able to analyze a single line, identify the equipment to be worked on, isolate it, and lock out all potential sources that could cause harm.

Experience

  • Independently perform all testing on various equipment, including transformers, HV/MV/LV circuit breakers, disconnects/loadbreaks, VLF cables, CT’s, PT’s, relays.
  • Must be able to thoroughly test a 600V circuit breaker, covering all aspects.
  • Ability to test a distribution transformer and auxiliary devices.

Communication

  • Ability to write technical reports after job completion.
  • Clear communication in verbal and written English.

Availability

  • Must be available for work during off-hours.

Qualifications

  • Electrical Technologist Degree is an asset.
