Heavy Equipment Operators Needed in Slake Lake & Grande Prairie ($120-$144k/yr)

The successful candidates will be responsible for operating heavy equipment on remote drill sites, and will be expected to adhere to safety regulations and standards. This position requires a high level of skill and experience in operating excavators, as well as a strong understanding of the equipment's capabilities and limitations. The ideal candidate should also have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Operate 16-20 ton track excavator safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform daily routine and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections of equipment.
• Complete daily safety operations reporting.
• Work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications and Skills:

• First Aid
• H2S
• CSO
• WHMIS
• Other Contractor Orientations, as required.
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable transportation for travel to remote sites
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Read, write, and speak English

Experience:

• Minimum one-year operating track excavator
• Drilling rig experience will be considered an asset
• Loader experience will be considered an asset

Willing to provide additional training to suitable candidate

Salary: $120,000.00-$144,000.00 per year
