Heavy Equip Operations Needed For 7-Yr Project (Kittery, ME)

Heavy Equipment Operators for a prevailing wage project in Kittery, ME!! 

Job Details:

Will be working on a Naval Shipyard to finish constructing a dry dock for the Navy. Will be asked to run a few different pieces of equipment proficiently.  Must be able to run wheel loaders, excavators, telehandlers, and small equipment such as skids and mini excavators. Primary pieces of equipment will be CAT 322 rubber tired excavator, Volvo L-90 Loader, and Cat950M, and JD 644 Loaders. Will be trenching, backfilling, and loading trucks. Should have some exp with marine/dock work.  Must be able to perform some general maintenance on equipment, load, dump, dig, and some grade work.  Will be spreading gravel/rock, trenching for sewer pipes, water piping, stalling culverts. 

Working Conditions:

Project is 7 years long.  Will all be first shift, may add a night shift later on down the road.  Will be getting 50-60+ hours per week depending on weather. Must be ok with working in all weather conditions.  

Compensation:

Pay is predetermined by the prevailing wage that is set at $28.36 /hour.  Those that qualify will earn $135/day for all 7 days in per diem, as long as you work all scheduled days. 

Qualifications:

- Must have 5+ years of experience in industrial, marine, and civil work- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints- Should be able to operate and grade with multiple pieces of equipment- Must have REAL ID and/or Passport, and Birth Certificate to obtain base pass for job- Must have tools of the trade- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings
