Class 1 Tanker Truck Driver

Position: Full-time

Job Details

• Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring adherence to weight limits and optimal use of company equipment.
• Compliance with Company policies, Health and Safety procedures, DOT regulations, and Hazardous Materials/Waste requirements.
• Timely completion of daily scheduled deliveries and services, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
• Accurate and timely completion of required paperwork, including daily logs, dispatch reports, and time sheets.
• Adherence to local, provincial, and federal compliance regulations.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections, routine maintenance, and housekeeping for proper equipment operation.
• Strict observance of company operating guidelines, environmental health, and safety procedures.

Qualification:

• Valid Class 1 driver’s license with a clean driver abstract.

• Safety tickets: First Aid/CPR, CSTS, TDG, H2S Alive.

Experience

• 2 years of experience driving tank trucks (fluid hauling preferred).

Knowledge & Skills

• Commitment to environmental compliance and safe work practices.
  
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and perform physical duties.
• Availability for after-hour calls and occasional overnight stays in the truck.
• Strong reliability and integrity.

Schedule:

• 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts.
• Day/Night shifts.
• Overtime after 44 hours in a week.
