We are a safety/ medic /industrial fire fighting service company who's primary focus is to service the oil & gas industry in both NEBC and Alberta. We operate approximately 120 medics, 80 H2S Safety Specialists, 30 Firefighters and 6 Air Quality Monitoring Personnel at any given time.

About the job

This position requires the candidate to be proficient at pulling a trailer, following directions and to provide breathing air and provide rescue services in any hazardous environment, more specifically, around H2S gas. This position is responsible for determining concentrations of H2S gas, Carbon Monoxide levels, Oxygen deficient or rich environments and areas where LEL's may be present. This person will assist workers in donning SABA's, operating an air trailer following Trojan Safety's policies and procedures and must be at the ready when there are integrity breaks and gas may be present.

Requirements:

• Occupational First Aid 1 (AB/BC)
• H2S Alive
• Detection and Control of Flammable Substances
• Confined Space Entry and Basic Rescue
• CSO
• TDG
• Class 5 license
• WHIMIS
