What Superior Skilled Trades is Hiring for:

Pile Driver Foreman & Pile Driver Welders 

Location: Green Cove Springs, FL

Start: ASAP! 

PAY: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour (BOE)

Duration: 2+ Months

Benefits: $25 A DAY GAS Allowance offered

Schedule 

  • 7 am to 3:30 pm
  • Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a team of pile driver operators, ensuring efficient and accurate pile installation according to project specifications.
  • Operate and maintain pile driving equipment, including pile drivers and related machinery.
  • Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute pile driving tasks accurately.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines, creating a culture of safety among the team.
  • Ensure that all pile driving work meets industry standards, project requirements, and quality expectations.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project success.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members, fostering skill development and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of pile driving equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a pile driver operator with a strong track record of safe and efficient pile installation.
  • Experience operating an Impact Hammer and Vibratory Hammer.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints and drawings.
  • Strong commitment to safety and the ability to enforce safety regulations and procedures.
  • Physical strength and stamina required for the demands of pile driving tasks.
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and management.
  • Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.

Pre-employment

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.

Travel/Transporation

  • Must have reliable transportation to and from the job location.
