Gold Mine Hiring Crafts in Alaska: $35/hr, $215 Per Diem & $750 Travel Reimbursement

Trillium is looking for Journeymen ironworkers for a gold mine expansion project.

This project is expected to last at least 4-5 months long.  Candidates will be responsible for raising, placing, and connecting girders, columns, and other structural-steel members to form completed structure and/or framework.

Should have exp rigging using chain, cable, or rope. Should be familiar and have all tools of the trades. Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of members, using plum bob and levels. Bolt aligned members to keep them in position until they can be permanently bolted or welded into place.

Must be able to cut and tack weld steel to make alterations using oxyacetylene welding equipment. Must have a current up to date MSHA 48 or be able to take 8 hour refresher or go through the 3 day course prior to starting job. Work schedule is Mon-Sat working 10 hour days.

Pay is $35/hour and those that qualify will receive $215 per day in per diem all 7 days. Candidates will be responsible for getting own way to site! Contractor will reimburse flight/travel costs up to $750 one way.

- NCCER certification is preferred!

- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings

- Should have 5+ years minimum in heavy industrial settings

- Have reliable Transportation to get there

- Must have basic hand tools
