Fitter Welder 2

Location: Burnaby, BC

Job Status: Full-Time Regular

Salary: $44.48 Hourly

Certificates & Licenses

• Journeyperson Welder Certificate of Qualification (Minimum Level ‘B’)

• Valid Class 5 BC Driving License

• Qualification to CSA Standard Z662 and Company welding procedures
  

• CWB Structural Welding Tickets for SMAW & GMAW considered an asset

Experience

• 5 years’ experience in welding pressure piping systems or pipeline welding
• Experience in pipefitting and general fabrication

Knowledge & Skills

• Safe work habits and adherence to safety regulations
  
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and perform shop operations
  
• Field pipeline welding experience, including hot tap welds and leak repair welds
• Good learning ability, manual dexterity, and mechanical aptitude

Physical Requirements

• Physically agile with good eyesight; medical examination may be required

Work Conditions

• Physically demanding role with exposure to inclement weather
