Job description
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, metal, and other materials according to specifications
- Assemble and fasten materials using hand tools, power tools, and equipment
- Install windows, doors, and other fixtures
- Frame walls, floors, and roofs according to building codes and standards
- Ensure accuracy and quality of workmanship
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time
Skills:
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Ability to weld and fabricate metal components
- Strong carpentry skills to build structures accurately and securely
- Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues on-site
