We are currently recruiting for Journeyman Ironworkers for a project 950km north-west of Vancouver, BC. Camp available. Charter flights available from: Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops and Prince George.

Shift: 14/14 12 hour days

Hourly Rate for Journeyman $45.00

Responsibilities:

  • Reading blueprints and specifications
  • Pre-fabricated metal structure - assembling and erecting
  • Steel unit positioning, aligning holes and inserting temporary bolts
  • Unloading and stacking steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
  • Assembling rigging to move material and heavy equipment
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Journeyperson Ironworker
  • Previous experience working in an industrial setting
  • Strong compliance with safety protocols
  • Must have valid safety tickets: Fall Arrest, Confined Space, AWP & WHIMIS
  • Must be able to pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
