Location: Irving, TX

Job Types: Contract, Full-time

Salary: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shift

Training Schedule: 

After 4-6 weeks of Monday – Friday training (8 hours/day), two full-time schedules are available:

• Wednesday – Sunday
• Thursday – Monday (5 X 8 hour shifts/week)

Role Priorities/Responsibilities:

• Perform on-site maintenance of equipment
• Communicate and solve problems for customers
• Install, relocate, and remove equipment as necessary
• Troubleshoot equipment
• Organize and prioritize daily tasks for timely completion
• Build, configure, and program equipment based on customer needs
• Heavy lifting required during equipment maintenance

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to work outside in the elements (heat, rain, mud)
  
• Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 60lbs
• Ability to drive a ½ ton pick-up truck
• Ability to work on construction sites and various safety-sensitive locations
• Ability to work on ladders and at heights greater than 10 feet from the ground
• Knowledge of hand and power tools
• Effective communication – verbal and written
• Strong desire to learn and grow
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic
• Customer service-first attitude
• Attention to detail in work

Pre-employment

• Must pass a drug test
• Background screening required

Education

• Preferred training from a two-year vocational school or equivalent work experience

Experience

• 2 years working as a technician (automotive, CCTV, satellite, TV/cable installation, construction)
• 2 years experience working with and troubleshooting various transports (LTE, Satellite, and various point to point systems)
• 2-5 years experience working with low voltage systems including 12 VDC, 24 VDC, and 110 VAC

• Working with low voltage systems: 3 years (Preferred)

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Irving, TX: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
