What Adecco is Hiring for:

Forklift Operator / General Labourer

Location: Saskatoon, SK

Pay rate: $18.61/hour + $2 premium when working overnight

Location: Saskatoon, SK
Job type: Full-time | Temporary to Permanent
Start Date: July 24th, 2023

Shifts: 

  • 12 hours shift.
  • Rotating Dayshifts and Nightshifts, 
  • 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am

    • Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pick and load raw materials
  • Prepare packaging and fill-off finished product
  • Assist in receiving required raw materials
  • Follow all instructions and guidelines to complete work tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned

    • Experience

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Forklift experience is a must (no certification required)

    • Certificates & Licences

  • Must have a valid driver's license, own vehicle, and the ability to drive themselves

    • Knowledge & Skills
  • Demonstrated ability to understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analyses (JSEAs)
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Demonstrated ability in effective problem-solving and troubleshooting in a variety of situations.
  • Ability to communicate with peers, supervisors, and managers particularly in areas of safety, quality and performance.

    • Languages
  • Comprehensive ability to read and write in English

    • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and climb steps/ladders as well as lift up to 50 lbs. and preform repetitive tasks.

    • Work Conditions
  • Available to work overtime, shift work, holidays and weekends as needed

    • Tools & Equipment

  • Should complete company medical check to wear a full respirator 
  • Able to wear full face respirator 

    • Pre-employment
  • Must have a clear criminal background check
    • Permanent Canadian Residency is a must
