What Wavsys is Hiring for:

Field Service Technician/Mechanic.

Location: Round Rock, TX.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: $21.00-$26.00/hour (DOE).

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Field Service Technician/Mechanic for machine tool sales and service.
  • Travel to company sites within central Texas area.
  • Perform industrial equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems.
  • Read and understand measurement gauges, manuals, schematics, assembly instructions, and troubleshooting guides.

Knowledge & Skills
  • Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude and excellent customer service skills.
  • Work with computers, particularly Windows & Microsoft Office.
  • Use mechanical aptitude and customer service skills.
  • Utilize basic electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Maintain outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to work independently.

Travel/Transportation

  • Willingness to travel within the Austin and South Texas area.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency in reading manuals, schematics, and measurement gauges.
  • Proficient with computers, particularly Windows & Microsoft Office.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in industrial equipment repair and/or maintenance.

Certificates & Licenses:  

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
