Pay: $20-$33/hr DOE

Qualifications

• Valid TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card
• OSHA Basic Plus Certification

Experience

• Proven experience as a Pipefitter (Journeyman Level - 8 Years or more)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of proper technique for 45 and 90 degree takeoffs.
• Strong knowledge of pipe systems and their components
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for pipefitting
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills

Work Conditions

• Physical fitness and the ability to work in demanding environments

Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints and drawings to determine pipe layout and design
• Measure, cut, and thread pipes to the required specifications
• Assemble and install piping systems using various tools and techniques
• Inspect, test, and troubleshoot piping systems for leaks and other issues
• Repair and maintain existing piping systems as needed
• Collaborate with team members and other construction professionals
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and guidelines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
