Shop Mechanic

Location: Grand Junction, CO

Pay: Competitive

Position: Full-time

Schedule:

• 10 days on, 4 days off - day shifts
• Open to candidates near Grand Junction, CO, and Vernal, UT

Specific Accountabilities:

• Provide effective communication with management in the District regarding operations and continuous improvement initiatives
• Participate in the development of policies and procedures to meet operational service line requirements
• Collaborate with all operations groups to ensure trouble-free operation
• Manage employee and equipment assignments and schedules to meet customer requirements and achieve corporate mandate of "Service First"
• Ensure adherence to operational policies and procedures to achieve safety objectives
• Maintain Calfrac safety standards at all times, including a clean work environment
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot malfunctions on pressure pumping equipment
• Repair, replace, adjust, and align components of equipment
• Test repaired equipment to verify adequacy of repairs
• Operate equipment and communicate/display proper operation to others
• Perform various other duties as assigned

Experience

• Experience working in or understanding of oilfield services
• 2+ years of equipment maintenance required, diesel and hydraulic experience preferred

Education

• Diesel mechanic education/certification preferred

Certificates & Licenses

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record, Class A CDL preferred
