Foreman Powerline Technician 

Dept: Electric Operations

Location: Medicine Hat

Pay: Between $25.60/hour and $54.91/hour.

Position: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Using strong interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate work and tasks effectively.
• Possessing a comprehensive understanding of the Power Line Technician Trade and Electrical Utility and Transmission systems up to 138kV.
• Maintaining in-depth knowledge of Provincial Electrical and Communications Utility Regulations and other relevant regulations.
• Demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft and other office software in a networked environment.
• Collaboratively planning projects, scheduling outages, and communicating with customers.

Certificates & Licenses

• Hold a valid Journeyman Power Line Technician Apprenticeship and Trade Certificate or an equivalent designation recognized in Alberta.

• Possess a valid Class 3 Alberta Driver's License with Q code endorsement 
• Experience
  

• Have at least seven (7) years of experience as a Journeyman, including a minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory role involving the construction, operation, and maintenance of Electric Distribution Systems or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

• An equivalent combination of management-approved training and experience may be considered.
