Production Line Workers

Location: Oliver, BC

Salary: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Position: full time

Role & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring strict adherence to safe work procedures and maintaining compliance with food safety requirements throughout all tasks
• Skillfully sorting fruit to meet the established standards set by the government or the industry
• Efficiently filling bags, trays, boxes, or totes, as well as handling consumer packaging and bulk filling
• Safely and proficiently operating machinery and controls at the designated workstations as per the provided training
• Performing duties at each station of the tray line area(s) with diligence
• Completing additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor or Safety Staff

• Demonstrates excellent teamwork skills in a collaborative environment, 
• Fostering a positive attitude and energetic approach

• Possesses a commendable work history and maintains consistently above-average attendance

Physical Requirements

• Exhibits resilience and adaptability to thrive in physically demanding settings that involve repetitive lifting of objects weighing up to 15 pounds

Knowledge & Skills

• Displays exceptional communication skills, effectively engaging with colleagues at all levels and supervisors
• Feels at ease working with various machinery and is knowledgeable about safety protocols
• Salary 
  

• Offers a competitive hourly rate of $19.08 for day shift (7am - 3:30pm) 

Travel / Transportation

• Please note that if you are not a local resident of Oliver, you will be responsible for arranging your own temporary accommodation and transportation.
