What FWS Group is Hiring for:

Industrial Electrician

Location: Calgary, AB

Job Type: Full Time

Salary Range: $50 p/hr.+

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities/Competencies:

  • Utilize safe work practices and promote safety policies.
  • Proficient in electrical standards, codes, and best practices.
  • Responsible for safe use of equipment, including forklift, skidsteer loader, and power tools.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team for process improvements.
  • Supervise laborers and resources for specific tasks.
  • Mentor and train junior workers.
  • Accurate completion of required daily paperwork.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated honesty and integrity.
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Electrical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical power and control system wiring and schematics.
  • Knowledge of PLC and automation is an asset.
  • Enrolled in apprenticeship program; Journeyman status is an asset.

Certificates & Licenses:

  • Valid class 5 driver’s license required.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be willing to work in various weather conditions.
  • Required safety tickets/training.
