Certified Electrician

Location: Chico, CA

Salary: $25 - $35/Hour

Job Type: 

• Monday – Thursday
  
• 6:00AM – 4:30PM

Certificates & Licenses

• Must be a Certified Electrician in the state of CA.

Experience

• Current mechanical and electrical experience

Knowledge & Skills

• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others

Pre-employment

• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check

Physical Requirements

• Strenuous work may be required at times

• Ability to walk, climb stairs, and bend up to 8 hours a day
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, squat, kneel, and twist
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk around work area/warehouse 80% of the time

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret layout plans, blueprints, and other drawings
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, lifts and hoists, cutting tools, welders, torches, and other various tools
• Set up and operate lathe, drill press, grinder to fabricate necessary parts for repairs
• Inspect machinery and equipment to detect defects or malfunctions, and repair as needed
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Guidelines
• Adhere to Cal-OSHA and company's Injury Illness Prevention Program, Safety Policies, Procedures, and Programs
