Maintenance Technician - Mechanical

Location: Dickinson, ND

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical equipment or manufactured equipment to specifications as outlined on equipment drawings.
• Operate stationary and moving overhead cranes, forklifts, and any equipment needed to perform the job within safety guidelines.
• Read and interpret assembly blueprints and schematics.
• Follow standards, procedures, and work instructions to produce products of acceptable quality.
• Set and verify parts clearances.
• Verify material per bill of material.
• Perform assemblies based on assembly drawings and bill of materials.
• Operate pallet jacks, cranes, forklifts, power tools, and large hand tools.
• Record serial numbers of assemblies for traceability purposes.
• Align components, bolts, screws, and torque them together.
• Work on hydraulic systems, wellhead equipment, and frac equipment (training provided).
• Read schematics and use them to build required assemblies with minimal supervision.
• Test or assist in testing the operation of completed products.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and continual improvements of products.
• Participate in all toolbox safety meetings.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Familiarity with safe operation of tools.
  
• Ability to communicate and write in English.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.

Tools & Equipment:

• Hand tools, power tools, pallet jacks, cranes, forklifts.

Work Conditions:

• Oil & Gas industry environment.
